About Vance Coley
Vance Coley was born and raised in Marianna. His father, David, died while serving Northwest Florida as a State Representative and was succeeded in that office by his mother, Marti, who served for nine and a half years. Vance earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida State University and attended the University of Alabama School of Law before leaving to staff a statewide Republican campaign. He later successfully managed a State House campaign before heading the new Representative’s Legislative staff.
Ultimately, Vance returned home to Marianna to enter the private sector. He joined Melvin Engineering in 2020 where he works every day to help underserved communities, particularly those impacted by Hurricane Michael, find the resources they need to complete the infrastructure projects so important to their residents.
